"The Missing Man" Industrial drawers.
Dating from the 1940s, they arrived to us in a very sorry state and one drawer missing. The inspiration came from a Red Arrows display that leaves a gap in their formation, called the Missing Man, which pay tribute to the pilots who never returned home.
As with all "Revival" pieces the original finish has been preserved, details highlighted and period additions have been made for use as a unique and stylish piece of furniture. There are so many colours and textures bursting from this piece that you will never get bored of it.
The Missing Man space has a piece of polished aluminium fixed by copper rivets. Its the ideal spot for dropping your car keys while all your other bits and bobs can we organised and out of sight making this a practical piece as well as being totally gorgeous.
The whole body and drawers have been deep waxed. The drawers have been lined and the top is a solid piece of mahogany.
